Great venue! Original Bavarian Restaurant. Christmas lunch good - not excellent. Duck was tasty, but dry and dehydrated. Blaukraut and Knödel excellent. Desserts 5 star.

Outstanding Bavarian cuisine in a beautiful hall with a beergarden out front. Whoever is in the kitchen really knows what they're doing, the quality and taste rise above most restaurants of this style. Maxl would be proud. I didn't get a picture of it, but the steak (Röstzwiebelbraten) was perfectly done! The crunch on the Krustenschweinebraten was also just exactly right. The beer was great, but I didn't see a drink menu anywhere - that would have been nice. I'd be very happy to come back.

Found this local restaurant by the lake serving good bavarian food. The crispy roast pork neck is recommended but the skin was a bit tough. Place was crowded with locals on Sat night. Good traditional decor and ambience. Staff was friendly.

Very nice, traditional style but recently renovated Bavarian restaurant. Good service, classic food and lovely setting. Not a direct view of the lake but traditional feel and atmosphere! Not as crowded as many other venues at the lake.

Food fits so far, but just typical fat hearty food. Price performance is fine. Waiters could be a little friendlier! In my eyes, the food card is too meaty which no longer corresponds to the time. Lovingly prepared food as well as the salad dressing is a ready-made sauce instead of giving the customer the opportunity to arrange it himself. One aims here just on mass instead of class.

As an Australian couple coming to this restaurant we felt very uncomfortable. We were served after others who were seated well after we had been. When paying the bill we were provided with incorrect change and the waiter quickly disappeared. Do not recommend as a traveller. Ripped off.
